Where I work we have some coworkers who use K2. They seem to be drunk
and can't function well. Have been drug tested and nothing comes up.
Just wondering if this is a problem in service.

Sgt Robert Kelly, I had never heard of K2, so for the benefit of others in the same boat, here's some info on the drug:

I work for an active duty Army unit, and I have not heard about this being a problem, but I probably would not hear about it unless it were a REAL (serious) problem.

Fake Weed, Real Drug: K2 Causing Hallucinations in Teens
Fake marijuana, called K2 or spice, is increasingly popular, but the side effects are worse than with pot.

Thanks for the input and info. Have not researched it out to much. Just getting
into looking up info. My coworkers have been drug tested and nothing found. It
is legal to buy here in TX at head shops.

Sgt Robert Kelly, I would like to provide a response that doesn't relate to any current problems with K2 in the military because I have been out so long. However, I have seen numerous problems arise in our correctional facility. Testing can be difficult because of slight chemical changes in the manufacturing process. Some of the newest test are showing promising results. The after effects of both K2 and Bath Salts that we have encountered are; hallucinations, high fever, respiratory distress, and cardiac arrest. It is bad news and I have seen reports that death resulted from a single use.
