I was asked by my supervisor to print off the new policy for pregnancy so we could go over it. However I thought different regulation s actually covered specifics. Am I missing soemthing here? I would rather not look incompetent to my first line. Thanks for the help y’all.

Yeah what do you mean a pregnancy policy on what? On leave, on taking an APFT, on being put on profile, for the proper wear of maternity uniform? You have to be more specific because there will be different policies on different things.

....post partum leave, work hours, ABCP, the evolving confines of your individual profile, installation policies on appointments, prenatal care, P3, etc

not really sure about the pregnancy policy-but there's a new policy signed on January 22nd of this year-Army Military Parental Leave Program (MPLP)-

Army Directive 2019-05 (Army Military Parental Leave Program), signed on 22 January 2019, provides policies and procedures to replace previously existing Army leave, pass, permissive temporary duty (PTDY), and convalescent leave policies related to pregnancy, childbirth, adoption, and parenthood

visit http://www.hrc.army.mil
search for policy it will list all different types of policies related to pregnancy, childbirth, adoption, and parenthood

There's no pregnancy policy but there are regulations that covers pregnant soldiers. Your supervisor wants you to print off every regulation or post policy on pregnancy?

I'm not aware of any new policy. They changed maternity leave a few years ago. That's all I'm aware of.

Are you pregnant? Why do they want you to know pregnancy policy if no? Do you have a pregnant soldier?

AR 600-9, AR 40-501,
TG 255A U.S. Army Pregnancy Postpartum Physical Training Program,
◾AR 40-501, 7-9 and 7-10
◾AR 350-1, Appendix F-5 e & f (Dec 2017)
◾FM 7-22, chapter 4.21-4.25

I did all that with Google. That's how you find answers and then if you can't find them - you ask as well.

If you do have further questions, I have a 4 year old so I've been through being a pregnant soldier.
