This deal has of course landed itself in a ton of hot water. Some are saying it's a good deal and should be carried forward, others are saying that it will put the US and our Allies in a weaker position against what people classify as a terrorist state.

Here's the question though, what is Plan B? If this deal, which I agree is not the best, is voted down by Congress; what is Plan B? Does it matter if the US pulls out of a deal that was made in concert with our Allies including Britain, France, and Germany? If carried forward, does the 10 year time line and the removal of nuclear by-products truly set Iran far enough back in their development of a weaponized nuclear device? Depending on who you listen to quite a few want the sanction put back in place with the option of going to war with Iran. Note those calling for war HUCKABEE are in line with those that will not ever see the business end of an AK or be behind the gun in a MRAP. Also if we pull out, it doesn't take away the fact that the other countries will continue one with their plans leaving us looking really stupid. We need to give this a chance. War will always be there if needed, but doing something peacefully is harder and more rewarding to everyone involved. Plan A: give the agreement a chance to fail. There are ALWAYS going to be hickups in the best made plans and revisions might be needed to make plan A work. Plan B: Bring up these issues to the member states that signed the agreement with a recommendation to return to pre agreement levels with sanctions and further additional sanctions. Plan C: (always have to have a plan C)....Collectively find out what the real maximum effective ranges are for all of our weapons systems as we collectively engage their military in war. Plan C shouldn't be the first step or we as American's are what the rest of the world see's us as. SSG Warren Swan Thu, 03 Sep 2015 09:21:02 -0400 2015-09-03T09:21:02-04:00 Response by CW3 Eric W. However, there are a bunch of steps. Saudi Arabia takes control of the nukes they bought from Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt begin weaponization of their individual nuclear programs. The smaller countries (Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Oman, Yemen) all start WMD programs of their own. Isreal is forced to take a much more aggressive stance with Palestine, their borders, and their WMD programs. I wouldn't rule out some sort of dirty bomb exploding over Irans nuclear facilities. The United States continues to pay each of them huge amounts of money not to start a full scale war. Then eventually, somebody kills the wrong Politician, Prince, or King and BOOM WW III (the nuclear one) starts.
