Is there a pathway to sign CAC while in ADV while using a personal laptop?

AVD is P***ing me off.
I have my work arounds, but they are a huge time suck.
I'm not aware ADV will allow accessibility to my USB (i.e. CAC reader) through my personal laptop. So I can't sign anything in the ADV environment. If it's sensitive and needs to be MIL to MIL then I am dead in the water.

It sounds like you're either using ADV through the web portal or you don't have the redirection properly set up on your app.

If the first, then you're out of luck as there is no CAC passthrough for the Army's portal version.

If you're using the application, then ensure your AVD application is not the one from the Windows Store* and that the redirection is configured correctly if it wasn't recognized (follow steps under 'RemoteFX USB Redirection'. Failing that, check with the AESMP*.
