That will tell you why you have the "3".Response by SSG Laurie Mullen made Feb 21 at 2019 5:15 AM2019-02-21T05:15:59-05:002019-02-21T05:15:59-05:00SFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member4387449<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It should be waiverable I'm not sure about the Air force they are very strict on prior service. But yes the RE-3 with sep code MCF sounds right. You got discharged early for college so that would be the proper separation code. I would go speak with an air force recruiter if you can find one lolResponse by SFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 21 at 2019 9:41 AM2019-02-21T09:41:25-05:002019-02-21T09:41:25-05:00SP5 Peter Keane4388022<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>RE-3 should not have been given with a school release. RE-2 is proper, however RE-2 is frowned upon by the Air Force as they look at their RE-2's and not the Army'sResponse by SP5 Peter Keane made Feb 21 at 2019 12:46 PM2019-02-21T12:46:49-05:002019-02-21T12:46:49-05:001SG Private RallyPoint Member4388294<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a target="_blank" href="https://www.dd214.us/reference/SPN_Codes.pdf">https://www.dd214.us/reference/SPN_Codes.pdf</a><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.thebalancecareers.com/military-separation-codes-3356946">https://www.thebalancecareers.com/military-separation-codes-3356946</a><br /><br />Or search for SPN and RE Codes <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default">
