Is the U.N. calling the shots? Either formally or informally?

The conspiracy theorist crowd has been speculating "hypothetically speaking" that the United Nations is covertly/secretively taking over U.S. Military leadership - decision making...Do your spidey senses tingle?

What evidence do you have for this assertion?

I'm neither agreeing nor disagreeing, I just think such a statement should be backed up with more than "Spidey Sense."

Sgt S.P. Woodke, in a word ... no. I think that's a pretty far fetched idea. No way. Now, there may be issues with U.S. military members serving on U.N. missions. I did that in 1996. But to suggest that the U.N. is somehow "taking over U.S. military leadership." Nope, that's a bridge too far for me.

OK.. I'll be the first to say that our world leadership role has taken a severe hit as of late, but I can't believe that it's been THAT severe. The UN would cease to exits without the US (but that is an entirely different conversation).

No they are not but there is those who believe it. But I will say POTUS should be listening more to those military leaders.
