Is the My VFW Networks website affiliated with the VFW?

I had an account on there for a couple of days. And then it said my account was canceled. I guess 21 years of active duty was not enough, and being a life member of VFW is not good enough? I am worried this is a scammer affiliate? Do not know if it is real. I probably should have looked on RP to see if anyone else had heard of the organization.

You’re a CI. Don’t get old on me now. I would think the local lodge would know. Not in the news letter? Looked legit to me.

You sign up and you create your own group. You make yourself the admin and host the discussions. Interesting.

SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint I recently received an email form VFW saying they were doing away with this service. At least Im pretty sure it was this one. They said with social media apps such as Facebook, they felt there was no longer a need for this service. I went looking for the email but I must have deleted it.

Might this have something to do with VFW's recent adoption of ID.me? New system implementation nearly always involves growing pains. Sometimes, they never grow out of it (see MS Internet Explorer!)
