Is the investigation into Trump's campaign a legitimate concern or a clever abuse of power?

Now that the FBI has come clean and confirmed that it was indeed investigating the Trump campaign since July 2016 I am very curious at how this is being investigated. I feel Russia's agenda was more targeted at making sure Clinton didn't get elected than to get Trump elected as Wikileaks has been rather outspoken and critical about Clinton's political policies since 2010.

Certainly understand the need to investigate foreign state influence in undermining our political process but at what point does such an investigation cross the line - considering the unmasking of names and politically targeting individuals this seems close if not there.

Many countries state USA does this all the time. RU has done it for a long time. This was called the Cold War. In the US, there has not been an impact. I am not sure in the Cold War that anything but buckets of dollars helped push countries towards US/democracy positions.

You lost me on the part where you stated ....making sure Clinton didn't get elected. The entire establishment was set up to elect Clinton. The DNC even set up a fake election just to nominate her. Why in the world would the Russians want a Trump-like candidate to win?

I’m going to disagree with you George , I believe that in the next coming weeks that poop might hit the fan. I’m unsure if charges would even be brought up, it would be a great thing for our country to do and throw all the sob’s who plotted this in jail, but it’s doubtful it will go that far, I can’t see yet what the trump party has done illegally yet and I’m not going to judge anyone till the true facts come into light. But at this point it’s all about pointing fingers and he said she said crap
