Is the Army training Soldiers to work the sysytem?

An observation I have made recently seems to point to the new Soldiers knowing every trick to either get out of something or twist things around. You can't even "yell" at a Soldier without accusations of hazing. They know what they can and can't do, and seem to have a bit of cockiness knowing that we aren't allowed to smoke them. In my eyes, this is leading to a undisciplined, unmotivated Army. What are your thoughts?

I think that there will always be "barracks lawyers" SPC Dave St.Andrew. In order to effectively train, coach, motivate, and lead those Soldiers, NCOs need to understand the ARs, FMs, UCMJ, and other regulatory guidance that is out there. It forces NCOs to get better at their jobs. What it also does is make things easier for NCOs when it comes to corrective action. No one like the "Soldier who cries wolf" at the drop of a detail, counseling, 24-hour duty, etc. If you know those Soldiers, you should pass along to them the fact that our Army is getting smaller. The writing on the wall is very simple. Tighten up your shot group or start looking for employment elsewhere.
