According to the proponent brief there are about 28 leadership positions for us....about 500 e7's, the math says promotion isn't there.<br />At a certain point it is discouraging seeing others get picked up but in my case I'm ok being an E-7 and I love the reward from my job and that's enough, at least for now. Others may see promotion as the only thing that makes the working hard worth while and that could be a real buzz kill.
