Some people speak out just to heard and to fluff up their egos. But the reason to speak out is to be heard...because you want change. Sometimes it comes down to your picking battles. And you have to consider your audience that you are speaking out to. are the kind of audience that is angry? Be quiet because they cannot hear nothing but their collective ego talking to them. And being quiet means getting your ego out the way...with wisdom and using compassion to see where your audience is and why they are thinking a certain way. And having understanding into your own mind on why you want to speak out in the first place....are you speaking out to protect your ego and or are you wanting to see the other person heal too?
