Duplicate threads are frequently removed, and the guidance is to remove the newer post if it's essentially the same as an earlier post.Response by CW5 Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 24 at 2014 1:00 PM2014-11-24T13:00:09-05:002014-11-24T13:00:09-05:00MAJ Laurie H.340432<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Our system indicates that in the past 2 weeks 2 of your discussions have been merged to duplicate discussions/topics. I recommend you confirm/deny your assumption and test your hypothesis by contacting RP administrators directly. They can either confirm your hypothesis which will let you know why this is happening and take actions to change it or they can deny your hypothesis in which case they can help fix the problem. Posting this question gets after your issue indirectly. A direct approach might be quicker and easier.Response by COL Jason Smallfield, PMP, CFM, CM made Nov 24 at 2014 1:07 PM2014-11-24T13:07:53-05:002014-11-24T13:07:53-05:00CPT Richard Riley340457<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The best solution I've found to prevent this is to type the proposed question into the 'Enter a question or a topic' box at the top of the page and see what comes up. If there are multiple discussions that pop up, it is likely your question will be merged at some point.Response by CPT Richard Riley made Nov 24 at 2014 1:20 PM2014-11-24T13:20:24-05:002014-11-24T13:20:24-05:00SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member341258<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Some of my questions have been re-routed because they were very similar to previously asked questions, so always look to see if it has been asked before. And YES, if it appears rude or has swear words in the question, it will be removed. However, people can swear all day long with their answers...so not sure where the cut-off is.Response by SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 25 at 2014 12:01 AM2014-11-25T00:01:19-05:002014-11-25T00:01:19-05:002014-11-24T10:11:09-05:00
