Politics, more especially our responsibility to the Constitution and all it stands for is very important to me. Awareness and (self) education. I also like to help/mentor people. Science and the singularity are some of what I am passionate about. Being connected with the military mindset is another. Typically people asking for advice or to share experiences. Yes political diatribes happen, but that's the nature of the beast when people have a platform to engage others. I typically avoid the conversations that seem to be toxic in nature, but I have had some fairly friendly political discussions on here.Response by Cpl Justin Goolsby made Aug 23 at 2017 10:22 PM2017-08-23T22:22:41-04:002017-08-23T22:22:41-04:00CPT Mark Gonzalez2861921<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The software is adaptive to you. The military exists to further a political goal through other means. As such, they are inseparable. I think there should be a bit more respect for each other when discussing such issues, but that is another matter entirely.Response by SGT David T. made Aug 24 at 2017 10:27 AM2017-08-24T10:27:04-04:002017-08-24T10:27:04-04:00SSgt Private RallyPoint Member2864239<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="796668" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/796668-12a-engineer-officer-84th-tc-usarc">MAJ Private RallyPoint Member</a> I try to stay away from being too political on here. I try to post mostly about military stuff, or things that are interesting to the same point (militarily). What gets me is that many of my contacts post political stuff, therefore it tends to show up in my feed more often than others. I have to check in w/ the "Discussions" tab to get my good military ones.Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 24 at 2017 6:36 PM2017-08-24T18:36:23-04:002017-08-24T18:36:23-04:00PO1 Aaron Baltosser2864286<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I've had some grand discussion with many here, and very rarely for political causes.
