He is not bright enough to drill down and perceive the good of sports like: teamwork, hard work, dedication, and the desire to win. In a society of young people who are described as working hard to almost complete apathy, sports is a great avenue to learn about life and win. Other than family and friends, sports is the best thing about life. As others have mentioned, being an athlete teaches you so much about the value of dedication and hard work for long-term success. Perhaps more importantly, sports teaches you how to develop resilience and pick yourself back up after heart-rending failure. "If you have dedication and pride-and never quit-you'll be a winner. The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards." -"Bear" Bryant CPT Private RallyPoint Member Sun, 19 Apr 2015 12:08:16 -0400 2015-04-19T12:08:16-04:00 2015-04-19T10:29:50-04:00
