Jerick Prince 5256092 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I went to my Marine recruiter and asked him how recon school would go. He told me that right after SOI I can “volunteer” to go to Recon school. He made it sound like it’s an easy thing to get into. He explained the process in Recon school which I’m more then willing to put myself through to finish it. But I’ve heard of some recruiters making it seem like an easy task when it’s not. Does anyone have any personal experience with this? Is my recruiter telling me the truth that right after SOI I can volunteer to go to Recon school? 2019-11-20T09:28:08-05:00 Jerick Prince 5256092 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I went to my Marine recruiter and asked him how recon school would go. It&#39;s true you can volunteer to try out. He made it sound easy because it is easy to volunteer, it is hard to pass. It is a selection, so most people will fail. Once you pass the indoc, you will finish training as an 0311(rifleman). After graduation, you will report to BRC (Basic Recon Course). From there, you&#39;re in Gods hands because that&#39;s where the real selection and training process begins. If you fail out, you will be sent to a Victor unit in need of a new rifleman.
