Generally that BAH rate will be based on your home of record since you can't bring your family along to BCT and AIT. This will show on you LES (Leave and Earning Statement). You should be able to tell just by looking at the total pay, as a PVT under 2 years in service, you base income after taxes should be somewhere around $625 twice a month, give or take according to the tax laws in you state of record. BAH is not taxable, so if your check is showing substantially above the $625, you are probably getting it. If you are not, get Drill Instructor to get you in front of the Admin Clerk and get you paperwork corrected. They should back pay you if you didn't get it from the start.Response by CPT Lawrence Cable made Jul 22 at 2019 8:06 AM2019-07-22T08:06:17-04:002019-07-22T08:06:17-04:00CW4 Craig Urban4836081<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Son, you need to read the bookResponse by CW4 Craig Urban made Jul 22 at 2019 8:45 AM2019-07-22T08:45:42-04:002019-07-22T08:45:42-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member4837144<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>BAH is separate from your Base PayResponse by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 22 at 2019 3:15 PM2019-07-22T15:15:28-04:002019-07-22T15:15:28-04:00MAJ Ken Landgren4837213<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What knucklehead made that statement?
