I'm not a qualified Bubble head but I've seen a lot of movies so that makes me an expert (that is sarcasm in case no one get it) on Russian submarine warfare and day to day operations/living. These cartoons are pretty dang accurate.

Not enough rust on the Russian subs, ha ha. But the bureaucracy portrayed in the cartoons is what they dealt with. Have many Russian bubble head friends and they said the same thing; too much micro management. We were kind of left to our own devices for the most part. As long as you did your job and the sub didn't fail its reactor exam, there was pretty much a blind eye turned to most shenanigans.
