OK so the dumb-dumb congressman who has never read the bill he is sponsoring is Stephen Ira "Steve" Cohen is the U.S. Representative for Tennessee's 9th congressional district.
First he says the bill does not allow for FEMA camps then when it is shown to him he has some memory of it, then he just starts making crap up.

It's his usual BS, the FEMA camp stories have been going on for years, and even some of the photos that were presented as "FEMA camps" were labor camps in Korea. The man has made his post military career on the wrong side of good taste and decency trying to exploit the fears of others to promote and market himself. I remember when he had his conspiracy theory spouting TV show, where every time someone restricted his access to a place he would make it about him like he couldn't believe they would deny him a former governor, or a former Navy SEAL (he served with the UDT Teams, and never actively as a SEAL) access to some information. If you turned it into a drinking game the amount of times he made the shows about himself you'd be drunk in a few minutes.

Considering who this show is coming from I think everyone's gonna cast his opinion as irrelevant. I bet some of the money for this show came from suing Chris Kyle's widow.

Everyone responding to this story is responding with ad hominen attacks. I love my country but fear my government. If you honestly trust your government then you can be confident & live in happiness. As the government continues to do you can explain incidents like Waco, Ruby Ridge, Brushy Mountain by blaming it on the citizens that were killed.

I would just like to add something. Im neither Pro-Jesse nor Anti-Jesse. But I do not believe you should judge a given topic solely based on "Oh well if it came from Jesse, then its either Gospel or Garbage.

You have to look at the issues and the evidence within them. And make attempt to verify which "evidence" is good or bad. But you gotta remember there are a lot of folks who do believe various things who do so not simply because they blindly follow a given source, but because the details and evidence actually fit at least to some degree.

On the other hand, if we want to discuss the who/when/why some of us DO "blindy follow anything/anyone", then maybe that should get its own thread, named Religion.

Pardon me here, as I haven't really kept up on this stuff as of late. My first question is.....What happened to Jesse that he lost a bunch of credibility?

Reason I'm asking, is that I have a hard time believing Former Navy SEALs are "full of shit". Nevermind the fact he was a Governor later (or did the politics itself have a corruptible element)?

FEMA Camps are real and being "re-established" were camps were for Japanese Americans during WWII...that combined with the hoarding of Hollow point ammo... combined with the inventory of any farm/farmer who took government subsidies having equipment & structures inventoried and measured...WHY TAKING MONEY FROM GOVERNMENT IS NEVER GOOD! It is worse than owing the Italian Mafia...
