I asked if he&#39;s talking about the GI Bill. He said no. Does that opportunity really exist or maybe he&#39;s talking about the Montgomery? I will ask him if I see him again. They provide you with a monthly sum of money while you go to school.<br /><br />Reenlistment bonuses do not work the way your friend explained. Depending on the amount of money they can be a one time payment or spread out over several years for large bonuses. But they usually don&#39;t get paid monthly.
