I asked if he's talking about the GI Bill. He said no. Does that opportunity really exist or maybe he's talking about the Montgomery? I will ask him if I see him again. I would like to hear your thoughts in the meantime, however. Thanks in advance! Is it true that you get a bonus for being a full-time student and a Reservist in the Navy?2017-11-18T21:42:41-05:00AN Private RallyPoint Member3102896

A coworker told me he's reenlisting from AD Navy to Reserve and will be given an extra $2,000 a month for being a full time student. They provide you with a monthly sum of money while you go to school.

Reenlistment bonuses do not work the way your friend explained. Depending on the amount of money they can be a one time payment or spread out over several years for large bonuses. But they usually don't get paid monthly.Response by SMSgt Thor Merich made Nov 19 at 2017 11:43 AM2017-11-19T11:43:26-05:002017-11-19T11:43:26-05:002017-11-18T21:42:41-05:00
