Is it too much to ask for a DD FORM 1A for 1LT and CPT?

I’ve seen my peers have them and only got one for my commissioning. I never really got anything for promoting to 1LT or CPT.

I got only one at commissioning and one at promotion to Major. Nothing in between. Never cared much about them.

Glad to see the question asked. I never received any, not even for commissioning. Have been thinking about putting in a request.

In my day we only got one when we were commissioned, but of course they had to kill the goat to get the skin, then mix up the ink and hire someone who could write, however, what would it hurt to ask.
