GySgt John O'Donnell 827702 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We have now lost 5 brothers from Navy/Marine Corps Team, and what is really starting to make my blood boil is the fact that it has already started to become an afterthought news item in the media. Our nation has faced many tragic events in the last year, and whether you agree with the impact/outcomes of those events the names where front page news for weeks, and the cultural changes whether viewed as good or bad have been profound...But with the attack that was truly against... against all of US, the news is quite. We don't hear about the convoy of vehicles that drove our brothers from Chattanooga, TN to Dover, DE (where they are prepared for burial) in any significant details, and the we don't hear details of the events that took these "protectors of freedom" lives that were so "exact(?)" in other news stories and events in the past months that rallied the members of our populace to "come together" and "stand against" their own communities. Our "True Heroes" deserve better, and their names should be front page news so the they become a true "rally cry" for every American to stand up against the "real" tyranny of evil that is on our doorstep. <br />We can and have taken sides regarding the "American Experience" as of late, but there is only one side to be taken when those that "volunteer to protect' each of us are killed at our gates. We must each have a strong and passionate voice in whatever venue/environment we are involved in so we can "stop the bleeding" and truly "stand up" against those who want to do each of US harm and take the freedom earned for Americans. The time to have a voice is now...waiting till tomorrow could be too late. Freedom isn't Free must be earned and protected by each and every one of us today, tomorrow, and always. The future Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General "Fighting Joe" Dunford during the invasion of Iraq in 2003 had a term to express the the gravity of his intent during Op Order brief prior to every battle. He would state "Time Now' to close comments, which was undestood by all to not think, but to act decisively and with courage. Well it is our "Time Now" to act with decisiveness to keep the wolf from the sheep. Is it time to end our silence? 2015-07-19T20:06:37-04:00 GySgt John O'Donnell 827702 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We have now lost 5 brothers from Navy/Marine Corps Team, and what is really starting to make my blood boil is the fact that it has already started to become an afterthought news item in the media.
