Is it that hard to ensure your ASU's are correctly constructed?

I mean there are way too many resources out there to make sure you look good and are correct.

I just saw an interview with an experienced Soldier who's Awards were out of place. I would think if you are going to be on National TV you would make absolutely sure your stuff was done correctly and have it double checked to be sure.

I work extremely hard to ensure my uniform looks great daily.

What does the community have to say?

SSG Private RallyPoint Member, I think you're spot on. It's a matter of personal pride and professionalism. There's no excuse for being wrong when you have time to prepare, and when it comes to the ASU, I never had a time that I did not have time to prepare my Class A uniform. And part of that time I was with the Old Guard, where we were in and out of Blues and Greens (and BDUs) all the time. I think my start in the Army - at the 82d and then the Old Guard - taught me and instilled in me the desire to be professional, to take pride in my uniform, and do it right if I'm going to do it at all.

Bottom line, I agree with you - 100%.
