Is it safe if I skip a BA day when the unit transfer order takes effect? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-it-safe-if-i-skip-a-ba-day-when-the-unit-transfer-order-takes-effect <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am a TPU soldier and am in a unit transfer process (TPU-TPU). My order is cut and the effective date is approaching. However, the losing unit recently changed its Feb BA schedule and a two-day drill weekend will happen right cross the order effective date, say, the effective date is a Sunday and the drill weekend is both Sat. and Sun. My question is will I stay out of trouble to only attend the Sat BA since officially starting from the Sun. I no longer belong to the losing unit. I have a civilian gig on weekend schedule and I have to compromise it for the BA weekends if mandatory. Also I have not started in-process with the gaining unit but my new direct bosses in the gaining unit are tracking my transfer. Thanks in advance! In theory, if your transfer is on Sun the loosing unit will not be able to pay you on Mon no matter if you attended Sat and/or Sun. If for some reason your transfer is not complete and you have not requested to be excused, the loosing unit could U you - this would not be a good start with the new unit. The unit could also code you as pending loss, which wouldn&#39;t negatively impact you and would not require you to attend. The most important thing is communication with the loosing command!
