From what I have read he earned it. I don't believe in the validity of polygraph tests. It wasn't clear why he had to do a polygraph either. It's all in all a fishy story. But having been investigated by both the DAIG and DODIG... I can see this happening... We can't get you on this charge, so will create a BS subterfuge to deal with you. That said, since my case eventually was unscrewed, so I believe we have to have faith the CSA and SECARMY are doing what is right, based on what they know, which is likely much more than the media knows. Most of this sounds more like some one some where is appropriately embarrassed over something the good MAJ knows and would prefer he not be in a situation to bring discredit to them.

Some how his Silver Star made it through the vetting process for it to have been awarded and I don't know why a polygraph test for the CIA would reveal anything different than what was part of the documented record justifying the award.

He killed an IED manufacturer in a combat environment... Not sure how that was an ROE violation... Unless it was a CIA source...

I love a good conspiracy...
