As for your property being shipped from your HOR (I&#39;m assuming your a single soldier), it&#39;s probably going to be on YOUR dime. Being a PFC, I would recommend talking to your Section Sergeant, Sqad Leader, or Platoon Sergeant - they should be able to give the current info. Sergeants, we need help here! When I was in Okinawa, I got with their transportation office and had arranged to get my stuff that was placed into a storage unit at the time picked up and put into government storage (had to give my parents a limited power of attorney to facilitate on that side) and then when I was ready for it after I bought a house in TX near Fort Hood after redeploying from Afghanistan, arranged with the transportation office to have my stuff moved from storage to my house.<br /><br />If you need any help getting situated at Meade, I work and live near the post.
