SFL will get you to learn a resume, build a budget, job search and the like. Basically, it's a vast transition tool to use. Especially for those that have never worked a civilian job before.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 17 at 2022 6:12 PM2022-01-17T18:12:50-05:002022-01-17T18:12:50-05:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member7480630

SFL-TAP is transitional classes and resume writing to assist you in finding/applying a job following active duty.
However, there are programs that will accept your GI Bill or VOC rehab to get you trained and certified. SFL-TAP will wakl you through the differences and educational options available.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 17 at 2022 6:37 PM2022-01-17T18:37:48-05:002022-01-17T18:37:48-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member7480645

You get the last six months before ETS to go into CSP programs during TAP. They also cost your money from your GI Bill.

Also, elevator mechanics have their own union, limited class seats, and other hurdles.

Basically, it's a very cush sounding job that you have very little chance of getting into without experience and knowing someone. You should definitely have a backup plan.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 17 at 2022 6:47 PM2022-01-17T18:47:29-05:002022-01-17T18:47:29-05:002022-01-17T15:43:22-05:00
