Amn Meryl Hickman 5236934 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>During my time in the AF, I was blessed with 3 beautiful smart dogs, one at Lackland AFB TX, one at Kadena AFB Okinawa then my last one at Pope AFB NC. I often wonder what happened to them after I left them. My first was when I went into K-9 training to become a handler. I was as green as my 18-month-old German Shepard. I was told he went on to a civilian PD but have no idea as I was shipped off to Okinawa and to another dog. Each base was a new dog.
