Capt Private RallyPoint Member 127326 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am heading to Minot and having one heck of a time securing housing. It looks as though I will be renting a room until I can find an actual place. Is it possible to move my essentials when I start duty, and then the remainder of my goods (furniture, house goods, etc.) at a later date? Is it possible to delay moving goods during a PCS? 2014-05-15T10:48:53-04:00 Capt Private RallyPoint Member 127326 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am heading to Minot and having one heck of a time securing housing. I'm not sure what the max time on storage is probably 30 days. Could be longer though. They are storage units you can self load and rent by the month. You can have them shipped and sent to where you are going and have them stored there or wherever you want. It is also saving on gas. To ship 2 from CA TO GA cost me around 1600. To me, it was much easier than paying all of the extra costs (fuel, higher insurance, daily fees) of a truck.
