SSG Michael Hartsfield979099<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is a question that has long bothered me. As I have seen in many discussions by our politicians and even on RP, it seems to be more important to be right and have the "W" than to make concessions or to agree that everyone is entitled to their opinion or (and God forbid this should EVER happen) say "I was wrong and you were right."<br />So, is winning and being right all the time about everything the only thing? Is It Better To Always Be Right Or To Seek Peace?2015-09-20T08:26:56-04:00SSG Michael Hartsfield979099<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is a question that has long bothered me. Would you rather go around not knowing the truth or hope that someone shuts up because you want peace? No one can make an informed decision without all of the facts. If you don't have all of the facts, how would it make you feel knowing you may be spreading misinformation? I'll admit I have been wrong, but what I've learned is that I need to read everything and source it, first. Emotions do not belong in fact based debates, no matter what you want to believe.Response by Cpl Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 20 at 2015 10:48 AM2015-09-20T10:48:01-04:002015-09-20T10:48:01-04:00Sgt Kelli Mays979303<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If it's fact, then there is only one answer....the right one.<br />If it's opinion....then there is no right or wrong so state your opinion and then seek peace.Response by Sgt Kelli Mays made Sep 20 at 2015 10:50 AM2015-09-20T10:50:43-04:002015-09-20T10:50:43-04:00SFC Stephen King979313<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Through trial and error also being married for 20 + years I have learned to take other people's perspectives.
