Is it appropriate to call a school house about the status of a packet?

Have you heard of the phrase hurry up and wait. They may tell you the status, they might not. Most times, the school house does not have a part in the acceptance of a packet.

What packet? For what school? Who did you submit it to? Did you submit it through your unit? That's where I'd start to see if they submitted it all through S1, etc.

Your question is just a bit too vague to really answer.

No, the school has nothing to do with your packet, your acceptance, or your ATRRS seat. Any information they give you, other than what to bring, is usually incorrect. The school is there to train you, they have no ability to affect who gets a seat loaded into ATRRS

The schoolhouse has nothing to do with it. Your ATRRS approval chain will have that information. Go to the Schools guy.
