what do you expect? what is the definition of elitist?? I do hope he walk there to reduce the carbon foot print of that trip. :)

I could care less where he takes his vacation for the most part. I plan to get down to Cuba within the next year myself. But I also took my family to Croatia right after we finished the first Task Force Eagle rotation.

SSgt Alex Robinson No big deal, I would have done trips that w/ my sons if I had the time and money. Really, the question s/b who is picking up the tab?

Chicago mayors might be put under a microscope for a lot of things, but where they spend their personal vacation time isn't one of them. The only way this is a legitimate issue is if he has dealings with the Cuban government or with crime elements.
