The neighborhood went to shit but we still made a little bit of money on the place.Response by 1stSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 24 at 2015 11:08 PM2015-08-24T23:08:18-04:002015-08-24T23:08:18-04:00Cpl James Waycasie915999<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Lol, not if you are one of the ones who believe California will eventually break off and sink :-)Response by Cpl James Waycasie made Aug 25 at 2015 12:02 AM2015-08-25T00:02:22-04:002015-08-25T00:02:22-04:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member916728<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>With the economy still on the downturn likely interest rates will remain low for a year or two then finally go up. I would not buy a house unless you plan on living there for 7 years or more. If you need to leave in 4 or so plan on taking a loss on the house. So factor that in when you budget your buy or lease tradeoff plan. (how much will it cost to lease or buy a suitable home?)Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 25 at 2015 11:21 AM2015-08-25T11:21:10-04:002015-08-25T11:21:10-04:00PO1 John Miller923814<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><br />Before I moved to Arizona, I was living in Menifee, CA and working at Camp Pendleton. The city gets better and more vibrant each year which makes it a very desirable place to live.Response by PO1 James Shaw made Aug 28 at 2015 4:44 PM2015-08-28T16:44:57-04:002015-08-28T16:44:57-04:00Sgt Sabrina Williams945264<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I guess if you intend to make California your home. I personally didn't because they want too much for the size house you get. I went back to Texas and bought my house that's 2200 sq ft for $145,900. There's no way I could have bought a house that size in California. California's houses are too small for me.Response by Sgt Sabrina Williams made Sep 6 at 2015 10:31 AM2015-09-06T10:31:28-04:002015-09-06T10:31:28-04:002015-08-24T22:25:48-04:00
