I don't know how you can shut down an entire religion, especially in the U.S., but I thought I would share this article with RP. Seems really one sided.

I really tired to read the article attached to this thread but I just couldn't get passed it. First, the source of the article is one, like many, that only look at one side of things discounting the other side's argument. Secondly, it lost me when it said all mosques are criminal outposts. The article is judging the whole because of the actions of a few. Sure the actions of the few really over shadow the actions of the whole but lets keep in mind people, Muslims were living in this country for years prior to 9/11/01. Most of them go on with their day as law abiding citizens of the United States. And let's take a look at other religions. Throughout history, almost every major event had some sort of back from one or more religions. Or at least the action was said to be based in religion.

Islamists certainly do not have a monopoly on bad behavior, nor criminal activity.
The article is slanderous.
I have plenty of reasons to not love Islam, but throwing out an entire religion is morally reprehensible. We can do better than this, RP.

Islam is a belief system like any other. Sadly radicals take it to that nth level and sully the name for everyone. There are radical Christians as well. Unfortunately there seems to be way more dangerous and influential Islamic radical "leaders".

I would think that the Muslims worshiping Islam that denounce Muslim Extremism would ensure separation so if a Muslim Islamic Mosque was preaching extremism and denouncing the Country they were living in I would expect our Government to treat them as Terrorists or as Al Capone and the Mafia with the full force of the LAW. They are undermining our society, inciting Government overthrow, denouncing our Heritage, our Religion, our Democratic free Government is TREASON.......

The suggestion that we persecute an entire religion because some people use it to justify terrorism is morally reprehensible. If there is no freedom of religion in the US, then we are no longer a free people.

The answer to your questions would depend on who you ask...
3 + 2 equals 5, but so does 1 + 4, and 2 + 1 + 2... and a few other combinations.
Despite those differences, each equal 5, and the only thing that make those 5's "different" is how they came to be, which is acceptable and encourages meaningful discussion.
The religion of American Islam is not a criminal enterprise and neither are the American Mosques...
However... knowing what the answer should be, and we have this one group getting nothing but 6's regardless of the same combinations used, then the issue is clearly with those individuals, not the buildings or the religion...
The Westboro Baptist Church would be a comparable example...
And no, I an not Muslim...

All I have to say is abide with American laws and do not force your countries laws upon us. I am Native American and an Air Force veteran so yeah I can abide with our laws and they should also. A lot of my friends and tribes members have issues with the U.S. government I do not. Yet if they make the mistake of trying to push Middle Eastern rules and laws upon me or my family I would fight back with a vengeance and the same goes for my fellow brothers in arms I would fight just as hard for U.S. Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force.

At our core, we honor a freedom to worship what and how we choose. He built a country on that liberty. If we fail to uphold that ideal for safety, we lose ourselves.

Those that would trade liberty for security deserve neither.
