One of the worst was when we were letting someone go and HR prematurely/accidentally processes the employees "final pay" and it when out a month early in the employees normal pay cycle. The employee, upon getting the final pay, knew the jig was up. Not good. Cpl Jeff N. You are a whole lot more disposable when they don't even have to look you in the eye when they lay you off. Responding on twitter does have a nice touch of irony. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 14 Oct 2015 11:07:12 -0400 2015-10-14T11:07:12-04:00 Response by Sgt Kelli Mays made Oct 14 at 2015 12:44 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-disconnecting-a-persons-email-a-good-way-to-let-them-know-they-are-no-longer-employed?n=1039835&urlhash=1039835

Seriously?!?! Not a good way, but a way!
After I had been let go from one job, my corporate email still worked for some months after the fact. Very weird!
