Just keep pressing 0 for a human. This is a fluid situation and changes daily. Document the call (date time, name and #.) I hope someone answers, otherwise keep a journal of actions you took and it will be a wash later due to special circumstances. Tell current employer about your situation and try to partner with them until it is resolved. If so there is contact information for the course you will attend. Try calling them first. <br /><br />I am assuming you are an AD direct Commission, so you have no Chain of Command yet to ask (the default on DoD Guidance). Assuming you don't have hard copy orders, Contact your recruiter to find out what information source you need to check back with. It is all up in the air until they figure this out. I would not write off a June course date yet, but understand your trepidation in putting in notice.Response by LTC Jason Mackay made Mar 21 at 2020 10:06 PM2020-03-21T22:06:18-04:002020-03-21T22:06:18-04:002LT Private RallyPoint Member5686616<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have been wanting to ask this same question as I am also scheduled to attend DCC in June and BOLC in July. No doubt the circumstances are unprecedented so I understand the chances of drastic changes over the next few months. I've heard from a recruiter saying all orders have been suspended until mid-May. I debated reaching out to my assignment officer, but I would be willing to bet she is also waiting to receive more info.Response by 2LT Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 21 at 2020 10:07 PM2020-03-21T22:07:45-04:002020-03-21T22:07:45-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member5686992<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The way it will likely go is your course will get pushed to the right to accommodate individuals who were slotted to go during the travel ban but could not. That is what they are currently doing to NCOES. They are canceling individuals slotted for courses after the ban and rescheduling individuals into those coursesResponse by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 22 at 2020 1:21 AM2020-03-22T01:21:21-04:002020-03-22T01:21:21-04:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member5692771<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Got my seat reservation for the July course this morning. Wondering what they will do about APFT requirements. My last for record apft is from November (was shut out of the February and April course) and might not have battle assembly for either my home unit or the unit I RST with prior to the school starting. I submitted to LHI for updated dental and pha exams, but scheduling is kind of up in the air right now in my area as no dentist offices are seeing patients. It will be interesting how they handle things.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 23 at 2020 11:37 AM2020-03-23T11:37:42-04:002020-03-23T11:37:42-04:001LT Private RallyPoint Member5744479<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I got my DCC cancel for July. She told me that the entire situation is fluid (obviously) but CNTP for new nurses has been shortened. New nurses (and other medical providers I'm sure) are being pulled to help screen patients in tents/repurposed buildings. She also said that OCONUS bound soldiers in two of the BOLC classes in front of mine (July) are being held over due to the chaos. <br /><br />TRADOC is dealing with a chaotic situation right now, hopefully they can get some clear, concise guidance from higher as soon as it's available. I'm ready to head out and start helping now, but that's not the reality. If anybody has any AMEDD specific BOLC COVID-19 questions I can ask her. I can't guarantee that she'll answer but it's worth a shot.Response by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 6 at 2020 1:39 PM2020-04-06T13:39:59-04:002020-04-06T13:39:59-04:002020-03-21T17:24:47-04:00
