Is anyone familiar with the VA's online health tools and website (myHealthEVet)?

<div>Curious if anyone uses or is familiar with the VA's My-Health-e-Vet website (http://www.myhealth.va.gov/mhv-portal-web). There are a lot of great features, including a portal to store all of your medical information (so you can make it readily available to VA doctors and others that you choose).</div><div><br></div><div>I have a few ideas that I want to propose to the VHA. Yeah I used it before, it is a process to get it all hooked up but in the end its worth it.

Quick follow-up in case others use the VA's health website, but didn't see this post. Is anyone else familiar with the VA's myHealtheVet web portal for maintaining your health records, etc?

I've used it for a couple years. They sank a fortune into it. However, they still don't update most of the features that it was designed to show, especially the pending appointment section.

I was enrolled in the VA's Home tele Health Home care System... We called he "VA Hanna..."
and they would call and record weight BP and Pulse and One other Thing... and If any thing was out of Sync... the Next day a Nurse or PA would call...

I love MyHealtheVet website. I have been using it for several years now. Some of the functionality includes the ability to view and/or print all your medical records or just bits and pieces, for instances, most recent labs or xray results. There is the ability to have a direct "Secure Message" with any clinic or physician you wish. If whomever you wish to contact is not listed, simply send a message to tech support and the addition will be made. You can keep up to date with appointments, cancel appointments but still not able to make appointments. One great tool I really like is the ability to order Rx refills which is as simple as checking a box next to the Rx you need refilled. There is also a ton of information about just about anything medical you might need to learn about. It is also interactive with VABenefits website and some functions can be combined. I have found that MyHealtheVet has really sped up the service, at least here in the Sacramento/Roseville, CA area. If you are not yet signed up, get signed up now. You will be glad you did. I swear by it!

I use it from time to time. It is a little difficult to find what you are looking for, but once you do, it is a good way to get your health records. As well as keep tabs on the VA doctors version of your last appointment. You would be surprised what they claim they asked you but never came up in your visit.
