Is anyone else getting pissed off that the world is standing idle while ISIS is killing people and destroying history?2015-08-24T16:07:10-04:002015-08-24T16:07:10-04:00SGT Jeremiah B.915002<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Am I pissed? Hell yeah. Do I know what to do about it? Hell no.<br /><br />In an ideal world, we could just blow in, kill Daesh and go home with everyone happier and the world safer. <br /><br />In the real world, we'd come in and reduce Daesh as a ruling force but get mired down trying to stamp out a foe that melts into a population that is terrified of them but has no confidence we can protect them. We would then face various sectarian and tribal insurgents that think the whole thing is a conspiracy to take over their territory. All the while, we'd spend ourselves into oblivion and add many more Americans to the list of casualties in a war that never should have been. After which, some other group would rise out of the ashes and we'd get to follow the shampoo bottle: Rinse, Repeat.Response by SGT Jeremiah B. made Aug 24 at 2015 4:09 PM2015-08-24T16:09:06-04:002015-08-24T16:09:06-04:00MAJ Ken Landgren915051<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We are answering them with drones.Response by MAJ Ken Landgren made Aug 24 at 2015 4:32 PM2015-08-24T16:32:12-04:002015-08-24T16:32:12-04:00PO2 Kevin LaCroix915113<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes, big time. I really think that we need to attack the source. That Iran deal is going to bring on World War 3. I can see it now. They will mount one of those nuclear warheads, mind you they aren't supposed to be able to get any, to one of those ICBMs and launch. Who is going to stop them? There is going to have to be a major catastrophe for the POTUS TO open up a dialogue concerning the fate of the world. No one in the right mind should of even attempted to contact the nation of Iran to do this deal. It will be the start to the end. I suggest we all get weaponized as fast as possible and move away from any major city that might be a target. That day will come. It is just a matter of time before it happens. I just hope that there are a few of us that can put up that fight. I know I will be there.Response by SSG Tim Jessen made Aug 24 at 2015 6:19 PM2015-08-24T18:19:57-04:002015-08-24T18:19:57-04:002015-08-24T16:07:10-04:00
