Both of my undergraduate degrees (one of which is from UMUC, 2009) just have the degree, not the discipline on them. I think it has to do with the way the Maryland Higher Education Commission accredits the programs. The actual type of degree is listed on your college transcript. I just completed my MS in Leadership from Duquesne and the diploma simply states Masters of Science.
