Is an RN spouse able to use their license at an on-base hospital in foreign countries?

Does anyone know if a registered nurse is able to use there license on-base hospital for example if I pcs to Germany or Italy could my spouse get a job as an RN

Years ago, anyway, it depended on the Status of Forces Agreement with the host country. If that limitation still exists, that's where to start your homework.

I knew some spouses of SMs in Germany that were RNs and worked at LRMC. I don't know the particulars of the hoops they had to go thru.....but it can be done.

Yes, your spouse's nursing license is valid on any federal installation regardless of the state it is issued, as long as it stays current and active. However, there are about 2 million jobless nurse spouses in Europe and only a few jobs that own each year (and they mostly hire internal or through contractors). If your spouses already knows someone at the facility, they have a much better chance of being hired. I know a couple masters-educated RNs that have taken jobs at the PX to get by.
