<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Some states have not made the transition to the real ID system for their driver licenses, I have never had a problem using my military ID to get on a base. Some bases are requiring that the ID be registered in their DBIDS system, suggest you check with the particular base you are planning to visit.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>David, <br />I have never had an issue getting into military installations and there are a several in my area that I have visited. With that said, some installations require for you to be registered in their system if you are planning to visit.
