Any of you guys out there serve with the 4/325th AIR "Gold Falcons"?Remember that lone Iraqi soldier taking on our whole battalion?

Is the 4/325th an inactive unit under the 2 BCT/82 Airborne?

SFC Jim Mergott - I did not serve in the 4/325th AIR, but I heard the story, and it may be in one of the Regimental Histories. I will look it up tonight when I get home. I was in 1st Battalion "Red Falcons" at the time, and we had similar experiences.

Do you know why this question was posted in "Operation Iraqi Freedom" when it should have been posted in Desert Shield/Desert Storm?
