I refuse to vote either Trump or Hillary. Hillary has been in politics for decades and has accomplished very little and is cloaked in conspiracy. Trump may be an outsider, but he is the subject of continuous controversy and doesn't even have the full backing of his own party.

I am a soldier and the last time the Democrats had the White House for more than 8years we found ourselves in two wars for a combined loss of 500,000 American lives. Roosevelt came to office the same year as Hitler and for six years did nothing to enforce the Versailles treaty. Look at the world today, NK has ballistic missiles close to hitting California, Iran will have nukes soon, Libya has ISIS now, Syria is a mess with a red line we said not to cross and did nothing when they did, Russia took Crimea, and Northern Iraq is a mess. Sounds worse that 1939. Four more years of a democrat and WWIII has a good chance of starting.

For me, the vote goes to Trump fir multiple reasons. I agree with most of his stances and support his VP pick. While he may not be tactful by any means and is prone to wording his intent wrong, I believe he would pick a solid cabinet and actually listen to them much like he does business wise. Throw that in the hat along with the fact that I will never support HRC, partially because I was born and raised in Russia in the 90s and was raised strongly opposing Bill and you can understand why Trump has my support.

As for Johnson... well, I oppose many of his stances and even if he were a true "libertarian" then I would still oppose him as I view libertarianism as impractical in real world application as I do communism and socialism. They're good on paper and in word but the world simply doesn't work like that.

I vote for who I want. I may oppose others but my opposition is always a secondary issue behind my primary concern.

If I were to vote for someone because I would rather have them than the other person, I PERSONALLY feel that I would be doing MYSELF a disservice. Additionally, statistically speaking my vote is the strongest Right I can personally exercise. I am not going to use it "negatively" (against) when I have the potential to use it "positively" (for). Regardless of whether I have the chance of getting my desired outcome.

For those who argue a vote for X is a vote for Z, remember that with our Electoral College system, this is irrelevant. Depending on state, it is entirely possible to "vote your conscience" without having ANY effect on the election at all. Republicans can vote for ANYONE in California without changing the outcome. Democrats can vote for ANYONE in Texas without changing the outcome... Likewise a LARGE portion of Dems & Reps could choose to vote for 3rd party in either of those states without altering the election because they are "safe." Those who Oppose Mr. Trump/Ms. Clinton can do so freely with little repercussion due to the all or nothing setup we have.

Both. I didn't start out voting for Mr Trump, but he's who I'll vote for in the General election. I agree with his position on immigration law enforcement, trade deals that hurt American workers, law and order, support for the military, negotiating from power, and gun rights. I am very much opposed to Mrs Clinton. I believe she will perpetuate all the bad ideas and actions from the Obama administration. I disagree with her stance on the sanctity of life, employment of the military, free college, Iran, raising taxes, the Affordable Care Act, gun control, and continuous intrusion of big government into every aspect of American life. The polarization of American politics over the last 20 years makes this a very important election for the future of our nation. I hope every eligible voter registers and votes.

This election is a true conundrum for me, but the two real choices we have are both deeply flawed.
For me, it comes down to voting against someone with a long record of failure (Clinton) vs voting against someone with a long record of saying stupid stuff (Trump).
I think the deeds outweigh the words.

I'm voting for Trump. I would like to see him act a little more professional, none the less, Hillary would absolutely without a doubt hurt the military. We can't take four more years of cutting the force.
