In the old days in USMC, you could not buy 782 gear on base, can you buy 782 at USMC Clothing Sales today?

I was at LeJeune from 88 until 91 and was able to buy the 782 gear on base. Not sure what you are classifying as old days, but that might tell you about when the change happened. I got out in 93 so I can't say what may have changed since then.

Limited selection of gear, have not looked to see what you can buy there. Don't expect flak or helmets. You might find canteens, belts and Goretex jackets.

You can buy everything except OTV's and Head gear. The reason is the moll gear systems and you can buy mil spec replacements if you lost some or add on. The reason the NEX does that is the gear they have is mil spec and would rather you buy it there instead of one of these tactical gear web sites when you can't prove it is mil spec approved.
