Does anyone know if 2400 really exists or is it 0000 In the military why is mid-night spoken one way and written another way? 2020-07-17T06:20:01-04:00 PO1 Rick Serviss 6109823 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When we talk about mid-night, we say 2400 but when we enter it in a Watch Standers Log, it is written as zeros. When writing, I was always told to write the stroke of midnight as 2400 then at midnight plus one second it went to zeroes. Never made much sense to me, either, other than a way to designate one date ending and the next beginning. Speaking, I would just say midnight. Response by SPC Elijah J. Henry, MBA made Jul 17 at 2020 10:48 AM 2020-07-17T10:48:10-04:00 2020-07-17T10:48:10-04:00 2020-07-17T06:20:01-04:00
