You would use a lighter to burn those off. If NCOs found them during inspection, you would find yourself in the front leaning rest, or performing the beloved flutter kick.<br /><br />Anyway, does anyone remember what people used to call those strings? There was a funny name for them, but I can&#39;t remember what it was. Thanks!
