We need a tax system where everyone pays something, so that when politicians decide to throw money at something shiny and new, all will have a voice. What we have now is &quot;representation without taxation&quot;.<br />Further, with some exceptions, I do not think that many social programs should be just doled out without some effort on the part of the recipient.
