That's pretty indisputable. They're the ones doing MOST of the fighting, so articles like this are pretty much BS. And before you say "but it's only like 1% of them!", that's true. But that's been true of every generation since 1775 (WWII exempted). The military has ALWAYS been less than 1% of the populace for every generation. Isn't that why everyone loves that 1% slogan so much? It's also a statistical irrelevance. Every profession is less than 1% of the nation. Janitors, teachers, cops, firefighters, crab fisherman, parking lot attendants, all are less than 1%. It's just statistics... There is no profession that is more than 1%.. so it's a meaningless statement.

Pretty much every generation has smacked talked it's replacement. It's fun, but it's intellectually dishonest. I'm sure the greatest generations' parents thought they were a bunch of pansies too...

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2015/12/10/millennials-embrace-a-long-standing-tradition-letting-someone-else-fight-their-wars/

Millennials embrace a long-standing tradition: Letting someone else fight their wars

60 percent of millennials back ground troops in Syria. 85 percent wouldn't serve.

In defense of millennials, they are 90% of the military today! 2015-12-13T15:53:24-05:00 SFC Michael Hasbun 1172592

I know, I know, this is unexpected, but I have to defend the millennials guys...

Millennials are 90% of the military.
