It sucks...Response by MSgt Curtis Ellis made Nov 21 at 2015 9:34 PM2015-11-21T21:34:42-05:002015-11-21T21:34:42-05:00SGT Shannon Wasielewski1124825<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The Secretary of the VA was given special authority by Congress to terminate Senior Executive Service (SES) employees for the expressed purpose of removing individuals in cases just like this. <br /><br />I believe the Secretary is gun shy and did not want to pull the trigger so these two got a demotion and will retire with no impact to them since their retirement is based on high three, not last three.<br /><br />The real damage is the signal this sends to the rank and file in the VA that have been busting ass to turn the agency around.
