Have you talked with the Retention NCO about an Interstate Transfer and has he/she contacted the IST Coordinator? You can also contact NG Recruiting in the new area, they can help find and arrange the transfer also.<br />You need to be MOS qualified and have no flags to transfer.Response by CPT Lawrence Cable made Mar 24 at 2021 9:52 AM2021-03-24T09:52:47-04:002021-03-24T09:52:47-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member6849128<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Depending on where you will end up living, you may be required to travel to your battle assemblies. You may also be allowed to RST the battle assemblies. If you are on your initial contract, you may very well have to come back to the active drilling guard status after 2 years in the IRR. You will need to sit down with your Commander and have a serious discussion about your optionsResponse by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 24 at 2021 10:03 AM2021-03-24T10:03:53-04:002021-03-24T10:03:53-04:00SFC Melvin Brandenburg6849278<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You could go to the enlisted reserves. If you can't find a unit, you may have to go back to your old unit for drill. You may find a unit and have to be reclassified as they don't have your MOS.Response by CW3 Kevin Storm made Mar 24 at 2021 5:05 PM2021-03-24T17:05:24-04:002021-03-24T17:05:24-04:002021-03-24T09:07:37-04:00
