Favorite trick of the left, use an inappropriate term in place of the actual term. Immigration is a legal term for one that comes here through the legal process, Illegal Aliens either come in illegally or overstay their VISAs. Just like the current furor over the Radical Islamist Terrorist term, identify the enemy and take action to remedy the situation. Before someone asks, I seldom view anything on Facebook unless it is in response to something I have posted. Lots of nasty characters on there.

Definitely trespass, heading towards invasion. Immigration, it is not! They're not coming through just for work now. They're here to commit crimes. Whether it's drug trafficking, robbery or murder. They're hiding their movements by crossing lands under cover of night. They are a danger to not only these ranchers living too close to the border but to the victims of their criminal activity everywhere in the US. How many times have we had crimes committed by someone in this country illegally, they're deported and later arrested for another crime in the US.
I feel for those folks in harm's way. No one is there to help them. Border patrols don't come that far from the border. The ranchers are pretty much on their own.

In the current volume, it is invasion sanctioned by the US government. If you come home from vacation and see an "undocumented migrant worker" drinking your beer and watching your television, it's breaking and entering. But if they say "It's okay, I mowed your yard for you since it looked like work you didn't want to do..." then they get a pass from ICE (or at least the political appointees in leadership). BUT...if you try the same thing with your neighbors who don't know you....you are going to jail...So what do you think?

Mostly because of crime way beyond trespass, into invasion. Plenty of folks in NM still think NM, Texas, and much of the SW should not be part of U.S. I've notice the "Reconquista" is spoken of more openly and more frequently . . . often (in my opinion) by folks who might be considered the equivalent of Cold War "sleepers" . . . far, far left people (often well educated and not illegal immigrants) who eventually hope/plan to use the dissatisfaction of illegals, poor, undereducate, the "bourgeoisie", and whomever, to "start the revolution" - Reconquista or otherwise. (The movie "Red Dawn" comes to mind.)
How much actual interest is there in Reconquisat beyond the far left that is always looking to gain political control by creating upheaval, and by starting some movement or another that is intended to grow into revolution? Dunno. 51% of the population is Latino folks in NM with a high percentage being totally anti-illegal.
With the intersection of I-40 E/W and I-20 N/S that crisscross U.S. far more than illegal "immigrants", think gangs and drugs and all the affiliated crimes, are attracted to central NM.

I would call it cheating, economic adultery... I know that sounds a bit strange but hear me out.

These folks aren't coming here to twiddle their thumbs, they are here to work and there are plenty of businesses that will hire them, many even advertise in Mexican newspapers looking for cheap labor. They were (and continue to be) invited by American businesses. Never mind that it's illegal, if all we are going to do is slap business with a fine when it happens... they are going to continue cheating American on the American people.
